Lauren Jay Toolin is founder of Yoga Vidya, LLC, an educational and experiential resource for your best life ever! She is a senior teacher of Rod Stryker’s ParaYoga, which incorporates classical hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda. A teacher for more than twenty years, she has certified more than 200 yoga teachers, in her own programs and as director of the worldwide ParaYoga Certification Program. She has been co-teaching select Yoga as Medicine (therapy) Trainings with Dr.Timothy McCall since 2008, and apprenticed with Rodney Yee for many years.
Lauren edited the anatomy and asana columns for Yoga Journal for several years, associate produced a PBS television special and has been featured in many journal s and magazines, including Yoga Journal, Origin and Yoga International. Always insightful, inspirational, and infused with humor, Lauren’s teaching conveys her talents as an experiential anatomist and her passionate belief in Yoga’s boundless potential for creating a healthy, successful and loving existence.
